With the concept inspired by the client’s passion for yoga, the accommodation is laid out over five pavilions with pagoda-style cedar shingle roofs. The pavilions form the eight limbs of Ashtanga. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga developed by Indian yoga guru, K. Pattabhi Jois, during the 20th century which is often presented as a modern-day form of classical Indian yoga. Ashtanga means eight limbs or branches of yoga mentioned in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, of which asana or physical yoga posture is merely one branch, breath or pranayama is another.
Designed to incorporate the beautiful natural scenery and striking rock formations, a stone staircase leads to the antique door of the villa’s main pavilion. This houses the expasnsive open concept living space with high wood-panelled feature ceilings, stunning hillside and sea views plus the sleek white quartz chef’s designer kitchen. Also within this main building is one of the six bedroom suites, each one with its own deluxe bathroom.
Spanning the full width of the property is a sprawling 70 sqm terrace with a network of pathways connecting the charming pavilions, the huge 20-meter infinity pool, al-fresco dining area & kitchen plus the 35 sqm elevated sea view yoga sala.
