Khanom has good transport links, including a 45 minute drive from the cities of Suratthani or Nakonsitamarat ( both a very short flight from Bangkok airport), or 20 minute speed boat ride from south Koh Samui. This area also has excellent infrastructure and this 10 kilometer strip of beach front has mains water, three phase electricity and fiber optic cables along its entire length.
